Part of a mixed-use development in the heart of Collingwood, Lyf on Oxford marks the entry of a new hotel brand from the Ascott Group into the Australian market. Lyf on Oxford consists of 105 hotel rooms with expansive amenities for guests. Urban collaborated with local street artist Mysterious Al, who created 1.4 kilometres of bespoke artwork that runs throughout the hotel’s public areas, guest rooms and façade.

The development also contains 811 square meters of ground floor restaurants and office space, accommodating a selection of Melbourne’s leading restaurateurs. Lyf on Oxford and the associated F&B spaces continue as the foundation asset ownership of the Urban property Stable.

M Docklands

The M Docklands project is the second stage of a mixed-use development set adjacent to Etihad Stadium on La Trobe St. The development contains 1,500sqm of retail space, 185 residential apartments as well as 68 luxury serviced apartments. The building is made up of 2 levels of car parking, 3 podiums level and a 15-story tower above. Resident facilities include a serviced pool and gymnasium.

In April 2013, Urban introduced the opportunity to acquire the property at 675 La Trobe Street to Capital Alliance Investment Group. Urban acted on behalf of the client as lead negotiator in the acquisition and due diligence of the property purchase and continued in the capacity of Development Director, Development Manager and Project Manager in the project’s development.

The development comprises 178 Residential apartments, a Five Star residential hotel comprising 87 rooms, lobby and restaurant facilities and associated retail and amenities. Construction commenced in April 2014, three months ahead of schedule and was completed in early 2016.
