Urban Acquired the Site under a complex transaction structure on behalf of the Client Capital Alliance Investment Group and undertook Development and Project Management services through until its settlement and completion.

Quincy Hotel

The Quincy Hotel project is a hotel to be located heart of Melbourne’s nightlife on King Street. Completed in 2020, the Quincy consists of 30 levels providing 256 rooms, a Hotel Bar on level 28 with Terrace, Gym & Pool areas.

Urban provided Project Development Services and key stakeholder management shortly after the project planning approval through until operator handover. The property was delivered through an integrated fund through from original land owner BPM to ultimate owner and operator led design and delivery.

The Continental / Intercontinental

The Continental has been the most famous landmark of Victoria’s sought-after seaside town of Sorrento since 1875. Retaining the beloved heritage character, Urban were integral in the reimagining of this icon as a lifestyle precinct that brings a piece of luxury to everyone with a highly curated collection of experiences.

Incorporating a variety of uses in a wholistic mixed-use experience, including 108 hotel rooms under operator IHG, 8 Dining and Function Spaces operated by a collaboration of Kickon Group and Picket and Co over 1,500sqm of Wellness spaces operated by the highly awarded wellness operator Aurora.

Urban were engaged prior to the acquisition of the site by a consortium comprising the Victor Smorgon Group, the Kanat Group and Trenerry Property and facilitated the site due diligence, consultant team selection, Project Development Management Services and ultimate integration of the Precincts operator briefs and requirements into the end product.

The works commenced on site in the midst of the Global Pandemic and were completed in late 2022. It has achieved and continues to achieve accolades, awards and nominations for not only its stoic restoration of a Heritage icon but for its best in class operator and hospitality experiences.
