Tony Suttle
DIRECTOR

Tony’s various roles in the property industry have contributed to the delivery of billions of dollars worth of commercial, retail and residential developments.  He has planned and managed complex mixed use projects involving detailed design management processes that include preparation of sales, leasing documentation and contractor procurement packages.

Following his departure as  Partner of international design firm Woods Bagot, he established successful offices in Melbourne and the UAE for a multidisciplinary development and project management firm prior to establishing Urban.

Tony has established long term relationships with many previous clients. For example, having designed residential developer Devine Limited’s first medium density development Cathedral Place, he then went on to manage several of their major projects, including Victoria Point, Docklands, Citadines on Bourke, and French Quarter. When Devine Limited Managing Director David Devine established his own development company Metro Property, Tony assisted David to obtain their first development approvals.

INTRODUCING URBAN_

Urban began as a collaboration between colleagues Bart O’Callahan and Tony Suttle and includes a hand-picked specialist team of property-focused staff in Melbourne and Sydney.

Since its inception in 2009, the expert team at Urban has successfully developed and delivered more than $2 billion worth of projects in residential, commercial, retail, industrial and master-planned projects.

How has Urban achieved all this in such a short space of time? It’s simple. Urban’s foundations are built on a select list of clientele, for whom it identifies and improves project opportunities.  Urban’s reputation as delivery experts has been supported and encouraged by Australia’s leading financial institutions and publicly listed real-estate businesses. This reputation is centred around Urban bringing the very best service to clients of all development sizes.

Why is Urban different? Urban’s directors spearhead all projects. They are supported by a specialised team that specifically manages project procurement, consultant engagement, cost control and reporting, from inception right through to completion.

Right now, Urban is involved in the delivery of landmark projects in planning, design, documentation and construction across all property disciplines:  residential, mixed-use, retail, commercial and hospitality.
